A Baltimore Album Quilt (BAQ) is essentially an appliquéd quilt that was popular in Baltimore, Maryland, in the mid-nineteenth century. Nearly all of these quilts are on a white/off-white background with the appliqués being predominantly red and green. They were usually signature presentation quilts, often made by several different quilters, as a gift for a special person such as a bride. As a result, many Baltimore Album Quilts were treasured, well preserved, and exist to this day.

The Journey Continues
I have been away for awhile. I am making great progress in catching up. We have had three classes and at the last class, I was still on the first block. I have since finished the first one, am half way through the second and trying to decide on what pineapple I will do for the third. Pictures to come. Hope everyone else is catching up to. Although, I think I was the most behind.
